Your team and shop

Settings

Shop details and the switches that change how Mechy behaves.

Settings is for the owner and holds:

  • Shop details: name, legal name, VAT number, address, phone, email, VAT rate and logo, as printed on your documents.
  • Inspection templates: your own checklists and which one is the default.
  • Job names: the job types you offer, such as service, brakes or diagnostics.
  • Tags: labels for jobs and clients.
  • Job flow: simple (no status tracking) or detailed.
  • Online payments: connect Stripe so clients can pay invoices online.
  • Google Calendar: keep your appointments in step with your Google Calendar.
  • Bookkeeping: record scanned supplier invoices as expenses.
  • Email notifications: a daily summary and low-stock alerts, both off until you turn them on.
  • Testing: start a test job.
