Staff accounts and roles

Give everyone their own sign-in, with only the access they need.

In Staff you add the people who work with you. Each gets a username and password to write down or pass on. The password is shown once. You can generate a new one at any time.

Roles

• Owner: everything, including settings, staff and billing.
• Full access: everything except shop settings, staff and billing.
• Mechanic: jobs, inspections, vehicles, clients and parts. No reports, invoices or expenses.
• Accountant: reports only. Cannot open or change anything.
• Training: practises on test records and cannot see real work.

Other controls

• Calendar: whether a person gets their own column in the appointments calendar.
• Lock / Unlock: after too many wrong passwords an account locks itself. Unlock it here.
• Revoke access: signs the person out everywhere and removes them from the team.

How many accounts you can add depends on your plan.
