Practise safely: test jobs and training accounts

Try the whole flow without touching real invoice numbers, stock or reports.

Test jobs

In Settings → Testing you can start a test appointment. It goes through the full flow: appointment, job, inspection, parts, quotation, invoice and payment.

• Test work gets its own T- numbers, so your real invoice sequence is untouched.
• It stays out of your reports, end-of-day totals and accountant export.
• It never moves stock.
• Nothing is sent to a client automatically. If you press a Send button yourself, it really sends, so use your own number when you practise.

Test jobs are marked TEST everywhere they appear.

Training accounts

A training account is a real sign-in for someone learning the system, such as a new mechanic or an apprentice. Everything they do is test work, and they cannot see your real jobs at all. Add one from Staff and choose the Training role. How many you can have depends on your plan.
