Checkout: invoice and take payment

Issuing the invoice, recording payment and printing a receipt.

Money is taken through Checkout, the button at the top of every screen.

1. Tap Checkout and pick the unpaid invoice, or use Quick checkout for a sale that has no job.
2. Enter the amount and choose cash or card. Part payments are fine: Mechy shows the remaining balance.
3. Tap Proceed. The payment is recorded and you can print a receipt.

Prepayments

You can take a deposit on a job before it is invoiced. It is deducted automatically from the invoice.

Paper and email

Invoices, credit notes and quotations print on A4 with your logo. You can also email them, with the PDF attached. Receipts print on an 80mm receipt printer.

Invoices are issued in English, so your client, your accountant and the tax office all read the same document.
