Digital inspections
A checklist with photos, and a red / yellow / green report for the client.
An inspection is a checklist you go through on the car, usually on a phone.
- From the job, start an inspection. It uses your default template, which you can change in Settings → Inspection templates.
- Mark each item green (fine), yellow (needs attention soon) or red (needs repair now).
- Add photos from the phone camera to show the client what you found. You can crop each photo.
- Add any extra checks that are not on the template.
- For red and yellow items, pick the parts needed. They go straight onto the job's parts list.
- Tap Complete inspection.
The finished report appears on the car's history link, so the client sees the same red, yellow and green you did, with the photos.
