Quotations and client approval

Send the price to the client and let them approve it from their phone.

A quotation is the price you give the client before doing the work.

• From the job, Send to client sends a link by SMS or email. The client opens it on their phone, with no account needed, and taps Approve or Decline. Their answer appears on the job.
• Print gives a paper copy.
• If the total changes after the client was told, Mechy warns you and offers to send the new total.

Once the work is agreed, Lock quotation fixes the figures. Lock & invoice turns it into an invoice. You can reopen a locked quotation if something changes, and Mechy reminds you that the client was already given a price.

You never have to send a quotation. If you agree prices by phone, skip it and invoice directly.
